My Story

Ever seen a "giant" Yorkie? Neither had we until we pulled this cutie from a local animal control facility. Our vet believes he is a pure Yorkie, but somewhere in his genetic makeup it says - Make Him BIG! We can't guarantee he's all Yorkie, but he sure is sweet. He weighs about 12 lbs. He is also VERY energetic. If the job of Energizer Bunny wasn't taken already, Percy would be a shoe-in! He's about 9-10 months old and would be a great family dog. He's working on housetraining and has done well in the crate so far. He will sit in your lap for a minute or two, but then he's off to explore and find his toys to play with. He is good natured and has gotten along fine with the other dogs in his foster home, though they have snapped at him when he gets in their face too much. He loves the kitties and thinks they are fun to chase, but a swat on the nose tells him the kitty doesn't want to play right now. Percy definitely needs a fenced yard and careful owners, as he wants to scoot out the door whenever you leave. If you are interested in Percy, please email adoptions@cofas.org

All of our dogs are fostered in our homes so we know their temperaments. They are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots, wormed, heartworm tested (and treated if necessary), and on flea prevention. Our adoption fee is $95.00 for all of our dogs and puppies. Our goal is to match our animals to the best home possible. Please contact the foster mom listed under the photo or email adoptions@cofas.org for more information. You can also download an application at www.cofas.org
