Peppy has found his forever home with his foster mom, Liz, in Millis, MA. Lucky little Peppy!
Peppy was returned because he unfortunately felt the need to 'guard' his new adoptive family. There were young children in the family and no other dogs, and Peppy took on the role of being the 'big' protector of the family, growling and snapping at people who came to the door. He was fine with the children in the family---LOVED them--and that's likely why he felt the need to be the big bad dog in the house at his great big size of 13 pounds.
When he is in a home with other dogs, this is not a problem. He is currently being fostered by a foster mom who has two golden retrievers. His behavior is fine in this setting. So we are looking for a home with another dog, preferably a confident adult female dog, which will allow him to just 'chill' and not feel like he has to be Godzilla. Here's what his current foster mom has to say about him: "Peppy is wonderful!! All he wants is to be held and loved!! He sleeps through the night in the crate and he loves to cuddle while watching tv. He starts barking when he hears strange noises ie dishwasher, heater, but I quietly sssh him and he's fine."
Peppy is a one year old Boston Terrier mix with an adorable underbite. He weighs 13 lbs. He is housebroken, crate trained, and has been exposed to children as young a two. He is very playful, likes other dogs, toys, and being held. He would be great with a person or family that is active and has another dog or dogs in residence. His adoption fee is $350.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
