Pepper Winks

Let us introduce you to Pepper Winks aka Peppie she was found at a dog park in Phoenix in the early morning hours, three weeks ago. She is estimated at 3 years old and she is a 25lb brindle chunk. We brought her into the freedom squad and we have been posting her everywhere for her owner to claim her. See that she was found at the dog park in the early morning seems as though she was left. Pepper Winks is skittish but gentle and loving and enjoys cuddling and being petted all the time. She is a good traveler once she is settled and she snoozes in the car. She would be a great camping buddy and enjoys walks when the weather is cool. As much as she loves outdoor activities she most definitely enjoys lounging on the couch watching Hulu. This girl is very treat driven and loves building confidence in her daily routine and getting praised for knowing her basic commands. Pepper is mostly potty trained and has only had accidents in transition and when she has to hold it for a long amount of time. Her crate is her home she loves going in and out of it and she sits in front of it as if she is guarding it and no other dogs can go in. She will go to her bowl and eat when she feels like it and she is more of a free feeder as her foster mom has noticed so far. While she enjoys hanging out with her foster siblings she likes to keep her distance at the same time. Pepper is more of an observant kinda girl. While the other dogs are acting like crazies she is just watching them and staying clear. If they come to close to her she gives them a small warning. She does like cuddling with one of her siblings so we do know that she will be a great addition on a more submissive canine in your family. She has shown no signs of medical issues but she does have one eye missing, we have no clue what happened because it was before she became a part of the freedom squad. With her one eye missing it does not stop her from thriving and going the extra mile to be loved. Pepper Winks is a wonderful companion and ready to find her forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and part of a family. Vaccinated, microchipped, her spay is in two weeks.
