Pepper

In Winsted, CT - Hi I’m Pepper (aka Zephyr)! I’m an 2-3 year old tri with freckles! First off, I do love to run and play with my foster brothers and sisters but I mostly prefer to play with boys. I can play a little rough so at 35lbs, someone my size or bigger is best. I don’t mind nice females but I don’t like alphas because I want to be boss. I also don’t mind being an only dog as I love being the center of attention. When my foster mom takes me to work, I sleep while she works and will occasionally get up to meet customers at the door. When I am by myself, I’m a pretty relaxed girl. I love to go on walks and don’t really react much to people or dogs that walk by. I love all women but can be kind of scared of certain men. If they scare me but crouch down to my level I am way more receptive to being friends. Once I know they’re ok, I don’t bark at them anymore. I love to chase cats and chickens and have a bit of a prey drive so I’d prefer a home with no cats or small dogs/animals and no free range chickens. I’m working on down but do jump when excited. While I don’t mind small kids I might knock them over so probably only kids over 12. I prefer to sleep on my foster mom’s bed and am an aggressive snuggler. I am already spayed and housetrained.
