Hello, my name is "Penucci". I'm a 14 year old neutered male Poodle mix with a sad story that I hope will have a happy ending. For most of my life I've been on a chain in my owner's backyard. I'm not sure what I did or didn't do but I'm really meant to be a house dog. Even though I've spent most of my life outside I almost know what housetraining means and with some help from a new owner I'll have that right in no time. My hearing and eyesight aren't what they used to be but I can see and hear well enough to get along independently and can certainly find my way to your lap. I love to go for walks! Even tho' I'm 14 years young I'm in good health and whenever I get a chance to go for a walk I've got a real bounce in my step. I like other dogs and cats but would do best in a house without very small children. I have lots of life and love to give to the right person who will help me have a happy ending to my story.
