My name is Penny (also known as Missy which is a long story), and I am a miniature pinscher. I am the apple of my foster mother’s eye! I am healthy now – I just completed 8 weeks of heartworm treatments. During that “quiet” time, I learned how to give kisses, play quietly with a toy, snuggle (my personal favorite) and beg in such a way that you cannot resist me. I am approx. 3 years old and weigh about 8 pounds. I sleep with my foster parents because I am not fond of crates. Since I am not destructive, it’s okay though. I love to sit in the yard and can watch squirrels and birds for hours! If you watch for my signals, I will let you know when I need to go outside to do my business. Dogs that are bigger than me (almost all of them) frighten me. I would love to have a mommy or daddy that stayed home and wanted my precious company.
