Penny

Penny is a 2yr old Golden Retriever mix. She is a pretty big girl weighing in at 80lbs, but she is the sweetest thing around. Penny was found wandering the streets on a rainy day and when her owner was contacted he said he didn't want her anymore. We can't imagine why. Penny gets along great with other dogs, but sometimes she wants all your love to herself and will unintentionally push others out of the way. She loves to cuddle and is friendly to everyone. Once she knows that you are her "person" she will follow you everywhere. She is housebroken and will let you know when she needs to go out with playful little growls. She loves to play outside and lay in the grass, and with a little work I'm sure she would make a great park dog. She travels well in the car, she does well on a leash, is good at bath time, and she sheds minimally. She loves to be brushed and will wait patiently while you trim her nails. Penny is just a big teddy bear who needs a good loving home with a yard to play in and a warm place to sleep.
