Penny

She was found in Jackson Park, abandoned and scared. A few girls found her and we found out pretty quickly that Penny isn’t a huge fan of other dogs. I’m not sure if it’s just females because she does okay with the male next to her, but he is also bigger than her. I’m guessing that Penny is around 2 years old. She has gone into heat a few times since we’ve taken her in, so she will be spayed as soon as we can find folks willing to give her a chance. I honestly have no clue what breed she may be, but she has thick, medium length fur and is so soft! She does shed quite a bit. Penny is still very young and enjoys zoomies. We aren’t very familiar with the leash, but we are working on teaching her and the others to walk on leashes. She enjoys attention and getting loved on. I think she’s a very dominant female and would probably do best with a male or being the only dog in the home. I do not know how she reacts around cats or other animals. A controlled meet and greet is always necessary.
