Please let us introduce Penelope. Can you believe that this pretty pup was abandoned on a roadside at about 3 months old? Luckily, a good Samaritan came along and brought her to safety. She was placed in a kind foster home where she has been receiving lots of TLC while waiting for a place to hang her leash forever. Penelope is 8 months old and weighs in at 44 pounds. Her breed is a best guess, but we believe she’s a lab mix. Whatever she is, this little girl is filled with sweetness! That happy smile says it all! She can be little shy when meeting strangers, but warms up nicely once she feels safe. She's crate trained and will go to the door to let you know when she needs to go out. She is a smart affectionate pup who wants to please so she’ll quickly master whatever she needs to learn to become a great addition to her new family. Penelope gets along very well with other dogs and is good around cats. She loves to be outdoors and will thrive with an active family that will take her on walks and fun adventures. She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Her doggy bag is packed and she’s all set to head for a loving forever home where she’ll never be abandoned again.
