And now, a few words from me: Hi there! I'm Pearl & my foster mom calls me "the perfect lap dog" and I do really like to cuddle up and stay close to my people. Don't worry, I really like other dogs too, regardless of their size. Its fun to follow them & they have really helped to show me how to be a housedog. I'm learning all about walks, gardens & especially treats. I hope that I find my very own family soon. And now, a few words from my foster mom: Pearl is the sweetest little soul, who loves to cuddle & be with both her foster siblings & parents. Pearl had a rough beginning in life as a "mill mom" & is facing some challenges as a senior dog. Decreased hearing & sight, have made progress with training a bit slower for Pearl, but she is a smart girl. She is potty trained with regular outings. She walks well on leash & loves to sniff EVERYTHING! She is able to navigate stairs in & out of the house very well. She is generally quiet but vocalizes, to make her wants known. She is very outgoing & her tail hardly stops wagging. Pearl would do well in a quiet adult home with parents that are able to provide the patience & guidance she needs. A calm companion dog would be nice, but she would fine being an only dog in the home. Questions?
