Pearl is a shepherd mix that is almost 1 1/2 years old and she is in search of the ? perfect ? unicorn adopter ?
Unfortunately, Pearl is terrified of men and would be best suited for a woman adopter. We would also not recommend a home with children or other animals as she needs time to decompress and focus on building a bond with her new best friend! We know it’s a BIG ask, but this sweet girl deserves so much more than life has given her thus far.
We do not know Pearl’s past, but we do know that she likely did not have a great start at life and that she will need ongoing training to overcome her fears. Pearl and her foster are currently working with a trainer and Pearl is making good progress! We are so proud of her!?
Pearl is such a sweet girl but because of her trust issues, she is often misunderstood.
She is playful and happy - she enjoys hiking, sunbathing, and showing her favorite people her collection of toys! She is also potty trained and super smart! We just know that with the perfect person this girl would THRIVE!
