My Story

Peaches and Sprinkles are a bonded pair that were rescued from an overcrowded shelter in North Carolina. They were in very poor condition and were clearly used for breeding. They were shut down and very frightened. They are small breed terrier mixes. Peaches is estimated to be 5 years of age and weighs about 13 lbs. Sprinkles is estimated to be four years of age and weighs about 7 lbs. They love to go for walks and are good on leash. They are house trained and have been transported in crates just fine, but do not currently use crates in their foster home. The girls love affection and to sit in the laps of their people. They do not love to go to the vets. They are still getting used to getting medical attention. They have been fostered with teenagers and adored them. On the daily walks, we have found that they are frightened of young children. They do require slow, proper introductions to other dogs. They would be happiest if they could find a home where they can soak up all the affection and attention available, so other pets in the home will need to be okay with a couple of new serious lap dogs joining the pack. In return these two girls will give you all their love! They are now up to date on all vaccines, spayed, had dentals, microchips, had recent grooming and are ready to find their forever family.
