Peaches-Adopted!

August 23rd:

It is official, Peaches has been adopted by her foster family! She is an absolute doll and has fit right in to her new happy home. Thank you Reggie and Jenny for sharing your humans with Peaches, your canine adopted sister!

August 12:
It seems sweet Peaches has won over the hearts of not only her foster mom and dad but the two other dogs, and the four year old two-legger as well! They have decided, as long as things continue to work as well as they are now, to make Peaches a permanent member of their family! Peaches adores the four year old boy in the family and her foster dad has fallen pretty hard for her sweet ways and sweet face! Paws crossed everyone continues to adore and accept each other so Peaches can stay in her happy new home!

Notes from Peaches foster mom August 1st:

Peaches is an absolutely perfect dog who has impecible manners with humans and other dogs. She virtually loves everyone she meets. She is good with gentle children and plays nicely with my 5 year old. Peaches is like a big teddy bear who loves to cuddle, but is happy to nap in the sun on her dog bed next to the other dogs. She walks extremely well on a leash and greets all people and dogs who come up to her. She doesn't bark and will not even jump on the couch when invited! She is completely house trained and is happy with two moderate walks a day. She walks at whatever pace suits her walker. Peaches is such a gem who really is a peach!

Update July 21st:

Peaches will soon be in BC in a fabulous foster home but is still in need of a permanent home. She will be living with two other dogs and a younger child as well as the wonderful foster parents who will be taking her in. Please contact us to find out more about Peaches and to set up a date to meet her. She is waiting for you in Beautiful BC and hopes all she has heard about the great families here is true and she will find one of her very own to adopt her soon!

Peaches is an award-winning purebred Shar-pei. She was brought to theCalgary Humane Society as her owner was moving and was unable to take her. She is a very gentle, sociable, loving dog who is well behaved indoors. She likes car rides, and other dogs, but is not fond of cats. She knows “sit, down, come and shake a paw.” Peaches is nine years young, housebroken, spayed and as pretty as she is sweet.

T'n'T Shar-pei Rescue will be taking Peaches into our care as soon as we can arrange transportation for her. Peaches is in need of entropian surgery and the Calgary Humane Society has made arrangements to tend to her eyes before she makes her journey. Once here she will be set up in a foster home while waiting for you to meet her! This girl will be worth the wait as we have been told she is a charmer and has an amazing personality. Don't let her age fool you, she can keep up with the best of them and is a healthy, happy girl.
