My Story

Pawley is a male purebred tricolor Beagle who came to the shelter after he was found running down a main road in Louisa and picked up by a Good Samaritan before he got hit. Pawley is estimated at 9 mths of age (2/8/06) and he is one of the small Beagles. He is just precious (aren't all Beagles???) with his white coat, black markings and mahogany head and long ears! Pawley was probably out running and got distracted or was on the scent of something before he realized where he was. Pawley would be the ideal pet for a family with children as Beagles rank right at the top with Labs and Retrievers for great family companion dogs. He is as big as he can get and though people have the misconception that Beagles are smelly, outside dogs, that is not true for those kept inside. They are as good inside the home as some of your smaller Breeds and have a better disposition than most. They are quiet inside and very clean and easy to maintain. And they love to be couch hounds and snugglers! Make a Beagle a part of your family today, especially Pawley! To find out more about Pawley, please call Kim Perry at (606) 638-0512.
