Ciao bella, I’m Paulo! Do you believe in love at first sight, souls destined to meet, miracles? Well I do ~ it saved my life! I was scheduled to be euthanized in an overcrowded kill shelter when my foster Mom saw me and was instantly enchanted with my smile and gracious ways. It was love at first sight for us both! Now she tells everyone that I’m the absolute BEST BOY she has EVER met! My perfect manners (indoors and out, thank you), high intelligence, easy going personality and devotion to pleasing my people have her singing my praises to all who'll listen. She even thinks I would make a good service dog because I’m so easy to train and love exercising my mind by learning new things ~ pretty high compliments coming from her, I assure you. (or maybe it’s letting her dress me up in these ridiculous adoption outfits, but whatever makes her happy ;-) I enjoy complete freedom and special privileges in our multi dog home because she says I’m so trustworthy; never any accidents, chewing or availing myself of the comfortable furniture ~ I know how to behave and am the consummate gentleman! I’m also a top athlete outdoors and love to walk, run, hike and play a mean game of fetch if someone initiates the exercise… it wouldn't be proper to be pushy about attention. I also enjoy hanging out to watch movies or entertain friends and I’m especially good with children. Long yard walks with my four year old human friend helps him practice his handling skills so I'm very cooperative and patient while he learns! Car rides are great too ~ I sit nicely to take in the scenery wherever we go. I have a stable, even temperament, am calm, intelligent, easy to train, affectionate, extremely gentle and very well behaved indoors knowing that’s the place to be kicked back. I’m known for being the perfect rescue ambassador who’s super socialized, housebroken, crate trained, sits instantly for treats (without being asked) and even shake with both hands (err, paws) in greeting to impress all my new friends! Paulo is a 21 month old, full grown 70 lb. neutered male Rottwieler/Sheperd mix, who is up-to-date with all routine shots, preventatives and micro chipped. Paulo’s $150 adoption fee includes his neuter, de-worming, heartworm test, complete vaccine series, first month of heartworm and Frontline preventatives, microchip and basic behavior training ~ he’s a ready made family pet who really deserves a super special home!
