Name: Patrick Best Guess for Breed: Hound mix Best Guess for Age: 6 years as of June 2024 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 45 lbs Gets Along With: Patrick does well with other dogs! Additionally, we tested him with some cats at the shelter, and he didn't seem interested in chasing them. While this is a good indication that he can live with a cat, as far as we know, he has never lived in a home with one. We would be happy to discuss ways to successfully integrate your pack! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Patrick is Looking For: Well, hi! I'm Patrick! I'm just a good hound dog. I've reached the age where I've calmed down some, but I'd still like to go to a home with someone whose able to take me on long, sniffy walks so I can inspect my neighborhood with my houndie nose. We live to sniff! I'd also like to be able to play with other pups sometimes. Most of all, though, I'd love someone to cuddle with after a long day. What do you say? Am I the pup for you? What My Foster Says About Me: Patrick is such a gentleman - dignified and easy going. When he wants attention or belly rubs, he gives me a pretty smile until I show him some love. He walks well on the leash and loves to snuggle on the couch. At 6, he's a medium energy pup but he definitely still likes to get his walks in and take in the neighborhood! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
