Senior Hearts Rescue and Renewal is the only licensed senior dog rescue organization in Western Pennsylvania. We do not have a shelter or a public facility. ALL of our dogs reside in foster homes in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. We are a 100% volunteer organization. Please respect our volunteers' time. If a dog is listed on PetFinder, he/she IS available for adoption. We cannot reply to messages, phone calls, and emails about a dog until we have received, reviewed, and approved an adoption application. You MUST complete the application in its entirety in order to be considered as a potential adopter. Please select "More About Us" for further details on our adoption requirements. You can meet a dog ONLY after we have completed our adoption approval process. And now a few words about Patches Patches is 12 years young and weighs about 15 pounds. He is a friendly, lovable, and easy going guy. Patches is a loyal dog that promises to follow you wherever you go. He loves his walks. And he especially loves couch time with his human after that. He loves his cuddle time. Patches likes other dogs and has lived with other dogs all of his life. He does require a dog friend about his size in his adoptive home. Patches is house trained and crate trained. He is in good health and recently even had a dental surgery. Patches can be adopted into an adult-only home within a two-hour driving radius of Pittsburgh, PA.
