My Story

The adoption donation of $300 includes already completed spay/neuter, vaccinations, and deworming & monthly dose of heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. The retail value of all of these services if performed at a private veterinarian is $600.

PARIS is a very pretty 2 year-old female Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix that weighs 12 pounds. She has the long lean body of a Greyhound and the face and personality of the Chihuahua. This graceful dog was given up for adoption because of a new baby in the household. Her owners did not feel as if they had enough time for a baby and dog as well. This happens everyday when people impetuously purchase a pet without thinking they might not be able to care for it. PARIS, although a little perplexed at current situation, is one great dog. She has the spirited Chihuahua nature and love of life, along with the elegance of the Italian Greyhound. PARIS is a playful and intelligent girl. Although slight in stature PARIS enjoys going on nice long walks. She needs beautiful clothes in all seasons. In the winter a nice coat will protect her from the cold, and during the summer she will need a little shirt to avoid sunburn. Once PARIS knows that she is really home, this dog will be a devoted companion for many years to come.

This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

Prior to submitting an application, please see the Animal Alliance Adoption Process for adoption details.

Animal Alliance is not a shelter where all the animals are housed in one location. Animal Alliance is a foster care network and animals are housed in many different locations. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please apply using the online application; applicants who call our phone line will hear a recorded voicemail with this identical message. We adopt many animals each week and meet prospective adopters at various locations so they can meet the animals they are interested in.
