My Story

***NEEDS FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise, ID Meet affectionate ~7-month-old, 24 lb PAPRIKA who was lucky to score a loving foster home in mid-June with other dogs and a cat. She is now looking for a furever home without small kids. Foster mom is learning a lot about PAPRIKA who she renamed KYVUH. KYVUH is a typical active puppy who needs a patient family to help her with socialization. KYVUH is already house-trained and crate-trained. She is smart and has lots of potential, but she appears scared (barks or backs away) and does not have the self-confidence to be able to greet strangers. Foster mom is working on more socialization with people by bringing her on walks with her mobility scooter. KYVUH likes to play with other dogs (check out video of her with big dog AZURE and foster sibling) and is fine with the resident cat (see video). She does show herding behaviors (e.g., nipping), so we are likely looking for a home without small children. KYVUH is happy playing at home in her yard and gets lots of enrichment through dog puzzles. She is still showing separation anxiety, so would prefer a family with someone home a lot. We also know that KYVAH gets extremely car-sick, so may not be a good dog for adventures. Complete an easy, online foster or adoption application to meet KYVUH in Boise. https://www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.com/pawlytics-dog-adoption-application BACKGROUND: Found stray in Jerome County with her sister PEPPER and dad, PATCHES.
