Panda-Adopted!

Great news! Panda has gone to try out a new home! We wish you all the best Panda and thank Richmond Animal Protection Society so much for taking such great care of you and keeping you safe!

Poor Panda has been in the shelter way too long.
Panda is a sweet older female Shar-pei who needs a foster home so she can get out of the shelter.
Panda is good with other dogs and people once she gets to know them, then she is affectionate and friendly! Take her for a walk and away from the shelter to get to know her. She loves the shelter staff and won't pay attention to anyone but them unless you lure her away with a treat and the promise of a nice walk. Once away from the place she calls home right now she will notice you, once she sniffs a few things first!

How her owners could drop off this sweet girl and her trusty Lab companion at the shelter in their senior years is very sad. We are not sure how she likes cats or smaller dogs and animals but she lived happily with her Lab sibling for 7 of her 10 years. They are both now in the shelter waiting for new homes.

TNT rescue would like to help Panda get in to a nice, warm and cozy foster home and out of the shelter. Can you give a home to sweet Panda? Shelter hours are: M-F, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; weekends, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adoption hours: M-F, 12 to 5:30 p.m.; weekends, 12 to 4:30 p.m.

A few of our volunteers have been spending time with Panda at the shelter and we would be happy to have a volunteer introduce you to her. She really deserves a nice patch of sun to bask in this summer with you by her side. She won't take up much space as she is a petite girl and pretty easy going too! Please check her out, we know you will fall in love with her if you meet her!
