My Story

Paloma is a super sweet gal who was found as a stray in Valdosta. She is around 8 or 9 years old. She came to animal control with a severe flea infestation and the scabs from all the bites are now healing. This tri-colored lady is small and just wants to be cared for - letting us bathe her and clean her sore ears without protest. Paloma had an upper respiratory infection, an ear infection, a UTI, running eyes, some of the nastiest teeth you've ever seen, and some lumps and bumps that need to be removed. All her infections are cleared up, the lumps are gone, and she has had a full dental cleaning. She has also completed treatment for heartworms. She appreciates having a full tummy and a soft bed and shows her appreciation with tons of affection. She gets along with other dogs and is submissive but she does like to play occasionally. She is great with kids and would probably be fine with cats. She has learned the dog door but may have an accident in the house if it's raining. Paloma has had a tough life and deserves to be totally spoiled for the rest of it. For more photos and for information on adopting this dog, please visit http://www.bhrg.org.
