ADOPTED! - Hi, Everybody! My name is Pablo, and I am the sweetest, happiest, most loving dog you'll ever meet! I ended up at the pound as an unclaimed stray, and--because there were so many homeless dogs there--I was scheduled to be euthanized. Fortunately, a nice rescue group saved my life just one day before I was scheduled to die, and now they are looking for the perfect home for me. They can't figure out why my owner never came to get me, because they say I'm just about the most perfect dog they've ever taken into their rescue program! (Oh, by the way....when I came into the shelter I had some hair loss from fleas, but now the fleas are gone and my hair is growing back. I'm a beautiful dark chocolate (and white) color, and I'll be even MORE beautiful when I have a full coat in a few more months.) I'm 2 or 3 yrs. old, I weigh about 9 lbs., and I enjoy going for walks and snuggling. I would love to be adopted by someone who doesn't work all day, as I don't want to be a latchkey dog. (Someone who works part time, is retired, or works out of their home would be perfect for me.) Because I'm so tiny, it would be best not to be adopted by a family with young children who might inadvertently injure me. I'm microchipped, wormed, neutered, heartworm tested, and immunized--and my adoption fee is $275.
