Everybody’s got something. P-Nut’s just got a little more something than everyone else.
First off, born with deformed front legs, he walks on his elbows. No, he doesn’t move fast, but he gets around well, all things considered. This is one dog you’ll never have to walk long distances, but who will love you anyway, unconditionally.
Because he’s undeniably sweet–-incessant tail-wagging sweet.
However–and here’s the next something—he was neglected and not socialized well early on, so he acts shy until he has a chance to get to know you. This means he’ll bark and even growl when first making your acquaintance. But don’t let that deter you—simply sit down on his level with food and let the warm-up process unfold!
Within no time, he becomes his true, wiggly self, rolling on his back while receiving affection and returning ten-times that in smiles, fun, and love. He does quite well with other dogs, too.
Note: because of the effort it takes to walk, P-Nut has struggled a bit with potty training. But with focused training, he’s getting better. So please don’t let his handicap deter you from meeting him if you’re interested.
An adorable little Am Staff at 30 pounds, P-Nut is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Just one to two years old, he’s that singular dog you’ve imagined nurturing and bonding deeply with for life when you’re ready. Are you ready?
