My Story

Ozzy is a beautiful young German Shepherd, estimated to be around one to one and a half years old, who found himself in a challenging situation when he was brought into Dallas Animal Services on a catchpole, visibly terrified. Despite his fear, Ozzy's sweet nature shines through, as he wouldn't even look at you and was unfortunately placed on the euthanasia list. Fortunately, he was saved from this fate, and has since been in foster care in Texas. Currently, Ozzy is preparing to make a journey to Albany, New York, where he hopes to find his forever home. Potential adopters should understand that Ozzy may be a little timid at first, given his past experiences, but he is a genuinely sweet dog who forms strong bonds with people once he feels comfortable. He also gets along well with dogs of all sizes and even cats, making him a versatile companion for a loving family. It is recommended that Ozzy is placed in a calm and quiet household, as he can be a bit apprehensive around new people. With patience, understanding, and a gentle approach, Ozzy is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving member of the family. If you are considering adding a furry friend to your home and have the space in your heart for a special pup like Ozzy, he could be the perfect match for you.
