My Story

Meet one of the luckiest little 1-2 year old dogs we have had the pleasure of helping in a long time. This is Oxford. He was hit by a car on a very busy street and the driver just kept going. Thankfully just a few cars back was one of our volunteers and he scooped his little body up and rushed him to the vet. After coming out of his shock he underwent emergency surgery to fix his leg. Oxford did wonderfully during his long months of re cooperation and got his cast off in April and is now ready to go to a new home. He is neutered, current on all of his shots and seems to be totally housebroken. This very affectionate little man of probably 12 pounds is so very grateful to be alive! He gets along with dogs of all sizes, not to mention cats too. If you would be interested in applying to adopt Oxford please go to our website at www.spcaofmc.petfinder.org and fill out an on-line adoption application. Applications are considered in the order that they are received so the sooner the better, Oxford says! Thank you for considering a rescue pet.
