Ovid is a handsome Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier mix who weighs about 25 pounds at an estimated 5.5 months of age. We guess that he will end up weighing about 40 pounds once full grown. Ovid was found on the side of a road in Tennessee - this guy is a true, happy-go-lucky survivor! He has settled in great to his TN-based foster home. The pups love playing, chewing their toys, and getting lots of pats. As a young puppy, Ovid will need a family with the time and patience to provide him with house, leash and crate training. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
