Otto is a 9 month old mix of *playfulness* and *perfection*!! He was taken from a bad situation where he was living in the woods in a shipping container for the first 6 months of his life. Understandably, Otto was very scared of new stimulations at first, yet he was always friendly and sweet with his rescuers! Otto and his littermates had to fight for food, and he has some old scars that are healed up but will probably not go away entirely.
Otto has been in a foster home since his rescue, and his personality has really come out! He loves toys and is very food motivated. He loves everyone he meets, dogs, people big and small - and he has even spent pleasant time with cats!! Otto loves to run and play like any puppy, but he can be a little rough when he gets excited so we think his new canine siblings should be over 20lbs. Otto is eager to please and wants to learn so any training you want to do with him should not be hard!
This handsome guys is currently about 50 lbs and stocky - he's only about knee height!! He has started to learn to walk on a leash with a freedom harness. Otto will pull a little at first then stop when you call him over. He enjoys walking around the neighborhood with his pit bull friend. Otto is 100 % crate trained. He will not make any noise or go to the bathroom in his crate. He will stand by the door to go outside when he needs to go.
This is a quiet, friendly, crate trained loving dog. Not too big and not too small, he is the perfect size. and he has never met a person he didn’t like. Otto is ready for his forever home! Won’t you let him into your heart?
