Otter

Meet Otter! Otter is a big love bug and one of the best dogs around! He has a wonderful energy and a happy attitude! Otter is 7 years young and large in size! He is extremely house broken and well behaved in the home! Otter is good with other respectful dogs and (preferably bigger) kids! He is truly just a big baby and enjoys calm and serene environment. He just wants to sit at your feet while you watch t.v. or read a book. Otter is currently experiencing some skin allergies/dermatitis which have caused him to be itchy and develop "hot spots". He was treated with a cytopoint injection and medicated baths recently, which helped a lot! Otter did have ACL repair surgery in December of 2022 (RL leg). He has long since recovered and you would never know he had surgery... Otter had a difficult past and was neglected and mistreated. He has been a resident of pbc acc on at least 3 different occasions - once found as a stray, and twice surrendered by two different owners. He was then rescued by Shining Horse Rescue in 2022, only to be surrendered to acc AGAIN when they closed and surrendered all of their dogs. Otter deserves a forever home where he can feel safe and comfortable for the rest of his life! Adopt Otter!
