Otis Haven

Otis was found coming out of a field somewhere in Southern Illinois a little over a year ago by a long-distance truck driver. The driver knew Otis was in need of help and took him in with the full intention of finding him a home, but being on the road made it difficult for the kind driver to find the right home for Otis. While the driver and Otis love each other, Otis needs room to run and play and be a dog. Otis does not have access to a fenced-in yard, so sometimes he has to be crated or kept on a lead. Otis is a very, very sweet dog but its just not fair to him to keep like this. He is feisty, barky, jumpy and will climb on you. When he is scared, he tends to hide in corners and under beds. He is a very affectionate and vocal dog. Otis has a ton of love to give and just needs to find the right person who can give him a permanent, loving home.
