Otis is a very sweet and humble Boxer who has not had a good life so far.....that is until now---he is in Rescue and the world is already looking better for him. He is very thin and unsure of himself. He has the saddest eyes but we expect that to change as he gains weight and learns that he is safe. A little TLC goes a long way with a dog like Otis. Otis rides well in the car, is good in the house and is extremely humble. This boy needs a boxer family that will love and cherish him.
2/14/10: UPDATE: Boy is Otis a smart boy. He knows basic commands (sit, down, stay, up). He is extremely sweet and loves loves loves people. He is eager to please, thinks peanut butter sandwiches are the best thing in the world...ummm...other than cooked chicken that is!

All adoptions begin with completing the online application found at: www.canineshelterrescue.org Vet, personal, and groomer (if applicable) references will be required and will be checked
WHAT IS THE ADOPTION FEE?
Adoption fees differ from dog to dog and are non-negotiable. We accept CASH ONLY. Fees cover the vet care, quality food, and medications necessary to care for the dog while in our foster home. We are volunteers - no paid employees here! Fees and donations are the only means to support our continuing rescue efforts.

DO YOU ADOPT OUT OF STATE?
Yes, when it is the best home for the dog. Transportation arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the adopter in addition to the adoption fee. PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT TRANSPORT AIR FREIGHT PUPPIES YOUNGER THAN 6 MONTHS OR SMALLER THAN 8 LBS. YOU MUST PICK UP THESE PUPPIES.
