Otis is a young fawn Dobe, maybe a yr old, with lots of energy. For being so young, he is fairly big (80 lbs) and very strong, but a very loving boy. He is also quite comical always doing something to keep his foster family laughing. It would appear that he received little if any training as a puppy. But he is more than eager to learn. In fact, he loves his time working on obedience and house manners and is a quick learner. He needs an active family with a fenced yard so he can safely run and play. Obedience training is a must since his youthful exuberance needs to be properly channeled. He likes other dogs but is still so goofy, he can easily clobber them with his long, uncoordinated limbs going everywhere, reminiscent of Scooby-Doo! He is completely housebroken and crate trained.
