Ozzie is looking for a new home to play in!!! He is a adorable 9-month-old French Bulldog puppy, a bundle of joy and goofiness! This little guy has a unique personality that shines through, especially with his tongue often adorably sticking out. His coat is merle with shy tan points and a highlight in his right eye. Ozzie gets incredibly excited when its time to come out of his crate, where he eagerly wiggles and wags, ready to embrace the world. When this sweet pup was welcomed to the freedom squad with nine others from a puppy mill release. Ozzie was shy, scared, and unsure of what it meant to be a loved family member. Over the past month, he has made remarkable strides in trusting humans and learning to enjoy life. Though he initially didnt understand treats, toys, or the joy of being a dog, hes now starting to embrace the good things life has to offer. He gets along well with other dogs and feels most at ease running in a pack. However, he also cherishes his one-on-one time with his foster mom, basking in the love and attention she showers on him. Ozzie and foster mom are diligently working on potty training, with frequent trips outside throughout the day. While hes making progress, he still has occasional accidents in his crate. He was eating his own poop but that had stopped. This is most likely what has caused the Giardia infection, which is now mostly cleared up, and we have one more fecal test to confirm hes completely healthy. This little guy doesnt have any other known medical issues. His goofy nature is truly endearing. Whether hes running around with joy or flipping his body or toys around in excitement, he brings a smile to everyone around him. While hes still figuring out what treats are, sometimes sniffing them out and deciding whether to indulge, hes slowly opening with new experiences. Ozzie is just a goofy guy loving life outside of being kept in a pen with several others. This pup would thrive in a loving home with other dogs or as an only dog. Ozzie being with other dogs allows him to continue to build his confidence and trust while he is learning and watching their moves. If he is an only dog, he will love that as well as long as there is some training involved. Not only is he a puppy but he is directly from a puppy mill as well. Hes comfortable with a pack but also enjoys quality time with his humans. Patience and gentle guidance will help this little fart continue to grow into a confident and happy dog.
