My Story

Meet Oscar, the adorable 4.5month-old, 17-pound puppy with a beautiful freckled coat and stunning hazel green eyes. We believe Oscar is a mix of Staffordshire Terrier and Cattle Dog, making him a unique and charming companion. With his lanky legs and curious nature, Oscar is a bundle of joy, eager to explore and play. Oscar is not just a pretty face; he's also a funny and affectionate puppy who wants to be your best friend. He's eager to please, making him a great candidate for training. Although he's still learning, Oscar is doing well with house and crate training and is getting the hang of using a doggy door. Oscar would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of exercise, playtime, and continued socialization. He's not a barker, so he's perfect for someone who wants a playful yet calm puppy. He loves toys and is ready to bring lots of joy and laughter to his new family. He is not just dog and kid friendly, but also ok with cats. Oscar came to the shelter as a stray with his four siblings, who are also looking for their forever homes. Estimated to grow to be around 45-60 pounds, Oscar needs a family committed to helping him grow into a well-rounded adult dog. If you're ready for a loyal, loving, and playful addition to your family, Oscar is the perfect match for you! To begin the adoption process, please submit an application using the link below.
