You could say The Animal League has been my
preschool or kindergarten….my happy place where I
play with two- and four-legged friends while
learning a lot and having fun in the process. From
basic commands to leash walking to playing well
with others, my curriculum has been full. Friends
tell me I’m “very smart” and I’m happy to share that
compliment with other handsome hounds, like my
siblings. I also happily share my run with another
dog, often a sibling who looks like me—floppy ears,
soulful eyes, rust-colored coat--but our
personalities differ. I’m a confident, curious and
independent guy. Most of all, I’m eager for
challenges and adventures. My favorite dream is
sharing an active, fun-filled life as someone’s best
friend forever. If you might be that friend, please
