Opie says, "Hi! I’m Opie and look no further because I’m the handsome (mostly black, tri-colored) boy you want as a dear companion forever and ever. I’m full of personality and goofiness and belly freckles. I’m 5 ½ years old and was adopted by a family several years ago, but was returned when their toddler fell on me and I snapped - no toddlers for me. I have a limp but only at a walk: I run and chase and charge around the house and I’m the first one at chow call. I get glucosamine to keep my slight arthritis under control so I can be nimble to go up and down stairs but I’d rather no or few stairs. I love to chew stuffed toys, bellyrubs, play tug o’ war, bellyrubs, earrubs, food, bellyrubs. I learn quickly and I’m not a picky eater, I’m housetrained with a doggy door and did I mention I like bellyrubs and I get along fine with cats and other dogs. I’m working on getting my 50 pounds down a bit and I have all my shots and stuff."
