OPIE

This buff colored Chihuahua is Opie, a new addition to our shelter family. Opie was transferred from another shelter to get him in front of fresh eyes in hopes of finding his forever home. Opie is an all around shining star. He keeps to himself in his kennel, taking no issues with his surrounding canine friends. Opie has been on countless doggy day out trips from which we have learned that he is comfortable in just about every scenario. Opie has been in and out of shelters ranging from Maryland to Arizona since 2014. He is really on the hunt for the family that takes him in and doesn't let him go. Opie is a fantastic addition to any home if he is given the chance. He may be 10 years young but he has a lot of life left to live. If you are interested in meeting him, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12p & 2p-5:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Complete an adoption application online to be pre-approved for adoption. If you do not own your home, bring consent from the property owner to have a dog on the property. As always, if you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption. Adoption fees: 6m and younger $250, 7m-5y $200, 6y-10y $150, 11y and older $100.
