Thank you Emily, Onyx looks so regal and his shiny chocolate coat is so gorgeous. This is the Onyx we know. The Onyx that you see, in his kennel, is a frustrated young Pit mix that barks at you, because he is frustrated. He wants to go for a walk. He wants to see that leash in your hands. He wants to play with his ball, and he wants to walk, while carrying his ball. Kristin knows all about this as she is a faithful volunteer to this beauty who is misunderstood. Get him out of his kennel and you'll see the spirited and goofy sweetheart that just wants to be loved. He needs "the works" neutered, microchipped, vaccinations, but due to the generosity of others, his foster-to-adopt fee has been waived. He is housebroken and lived with another dog, although they would get into spats, especially if it involved food. We think Onyx needs to be the only pet. He's sleek, slender, athletic and ready to go places with his companion. Come and meet Onyx M-Th from 10:30 to 4:30 or until 4:00 on Friday. Questions about our pets or shelter? Call your shelter team at 317-392-5127 or email me at [email protected] ANYTIME. If you approach Onyx and this isn't what you see pictured, then let us get him out for you, walk our gorgeous trails and learn the real dog in the gorgeous chocolate coat. Thank you for sharing our posts and supporting the only shelter in Shelby County Indiana. God bless you, chris
