Onyx

This dog is located in VA and is being posted as a courtesy to help reach more applicants. Onyx is a black, 6 year old, female Scottish Terrier. She is spayed, healthy, up to date on shots, and on heartworm preventive. Her left ear folds over but is fine. This is another silly girl that loves to play with her toys and other dogs. She can be serious when meeting new people but that disappears quickly once she knows you are a friendly person. She likes to play with other dogs and enjoys tossing her toys around and interacting with other non aggressive dogs. It has been a few years since she's been on a leash so she will need a refresher on leash training. She is crate trained, doggie door trained, will use washable pee pads if needed. She will need some patience with housetraining if you have a different situation in your home. She is accustomed to using a fenced yard, so she will need leash training as necessary. She has only lived in a one level home so will need to learn steps, if any. She is cooperative for grooming bathing and teeth brushing. She loves the company of both people and other dogs so we prefer she goes into a home with another friendly, happy, non dominant dog.
