Hi my name is Ollie. I am a neutered male approximately 18 months old. I am microchipped and my previous owners didn't want me anymore. They put me out on the street to fend for myself and a kind neighbor has taken me in as a foster until I can find my forever home with a family who will not put in the backyard or on the streets. They didn't give a reason just said they didn't want me. I didn't do anything wrong, just tried to please them but I guess that wasn't enough. I am approximately 35 lbs, very affectionate and I love attention. I like to play and fetch so if you want a fun dog, give me a chance. I am not food aggressive and I will let you pick up my food and play with me while I am eating. Did I mention I like attention :) I get along with other dogs but prefer to be with people. I bond quickly and like to help patrol and protect my new home. I am very loving and I think I am adorable, at least that is what they tell me. I am a sensitive young man and I don't like for anyone to scold me or raise their voice. It hurts my feelings because I'm trying to do the right thing. Even at times saying NO too loud or sharp scares me. I like to come and lean right into your legs and make sure you notice me. I am told I have gorgeous and very soulful eyes. I am housebroken, and I will wait to go outside. Please give me a chance at a forever home and I promise to repay you with leans, kisses, wags, wiggles and giggles! WE FINALIZE EVERY ADOPTION WITH A HOME VISIT THEREFORE POTENTIAL HOMES MUST BE WITHIN A HOURS DRIVE TIME OF CHARLOTTE NC. A FOSTER PET WILL NOT BE SHIPPED TO SOMEONE LIVING OUTSIDE THE ADOPTION AREA NOR WILL ANYONE BE ALLOWED TO COME PICK A PET UP FROM US. YOU MUST BE 21 TO ADOPT FROM OUR GROUP.
