Ollie is a beautiful, 2 year old Great Dane. Ollie is content to stay by your side and be a constant companion. He likes other dogs and ignores cats. He is very intelligent and knows basic commands. He enjoys car rides, walks well on a leash, loves playing in the creek, and likes to indulge in an occasional ice cream cone. Due to trauma in his early life, he is fearful of strangers. He bonds quickly to one person and can become aggressive to others who attempt to approach him. For this reason, special adoption criteria will be required and potential adopters will be screened closely. If you have children of any age, frequent visitors or an active household, we will not consider placing Ollie with you. Continued behavior modification training will be required as a stipulation of adoption. AAF will pay for a portion of training and the adopter will be responsible for the remainder of costs.
