Ollie

Ollie was surrendered by his original owner to The Greyt Project in early October 2022 for re-homing. He was placed in temporary care where he stayed while he was being vetted and neutered. Lo’ and behold, this little man wormed his way into the hearts of his foster parents – and was adopted almost immediately!! His new family have taken excellent care of him since the moment he arrived. He had little or no training when he arrived, so he has been taught all the usual “stuff” a dog should know, like leash walking, manners with people, children, going potty outside and not in the house, meeting other dogs, etc. The owners have completed an Owner Surrender Form which goes into much more detail on additional items. Ollie’s family must return to the Netherlands due to an illness in the family and do not know when or if they will return. We all agreed it is far too long a flight for an animal to endure. The family will be available for meetings with the new family that will adopt Ollie and they, of course, would like to meet the family, see where Ollie will be living and will be available to answer any questions that come up prior to their departure. This is a devastating situation for them to go through and they will miss Ollie immensely. Meeting the adopters, seeing where he is going to live will help them all, especially the children.
