Breed: Aussie Cattle Mix
Gender: Male
Weight: 52 lbs.
Personality: Ollie is initially cautious (Aussie Cattle dogs usually are) but once he builds trust, you are his person. He is playful and loves to be around you. He is quiet and obeys most commands.
Social Status: Is not dog reactive. Tolerates cats.
Energy level- Ollie is playful, but would not classify him as “high energy.”
Challenges or specific needs: None
Medical Concerns: none and no signs of abuse
Bite history: Ollie did have a bite while at the animal shelter. The shelter staff/vet were attempting to neuter, and he was scared. They did not muzzle him and when they tried to hold him down for giving an injection, he bit.
Favorite toys: pink horse and his blue dragon. Likes to play with blue treat toy as well.
Feeding: Purina One protein, 1.5 scopes twice daily.
Spayed or neutered: Neutered
Vaccinations: UTD on all vaccines
Heartworm negative

House or crate trained: Yes to both.
Special diet: No
Is Ollie good with dogs: Has not been socialized with foster pets but is non-reactive when seeing them. Was non-reactive at Spay and neuter clinic.
Is Ollie good with cats: Yes, he tolerates them
Is Ollie good with livestock: unable to determine
Exercised on a regular basis: Yes- as often as we can.
Is Ollie good with people: Yes! Does not appear to be overly protective.
Hours left alone: depends on work schedule. Usually two days a week I work in Charlotte and he is in his crate most of the day.
Where does he sleep: On the bed or in his crate.
Walks well on a leash. Knows the following commands: sit, down, no, come and lay down. Working on stay
Like to be bathed: can’t answer at this time
Rides well in a car: Yes
Time limit for foster- None.
Rehoming: Needs some to allow him to decompress and get familiar with surroundings. He is cautious so they will need to be patient. Slow introductions are always recommended for other dogs in the house. He does well with my grandkids and is friendly to all that he meets.
