I was brought into rescue as an abuse case. What does that mean? I don’t know! My foster mom keeps telling me how I am the sweetest boy she has ever met and! and sometimes she cries and gives me extra snuggles. I love snuggling. It might ALMOST be the best thing in the world. BUT! Now that I have recovered from my surgery, I found out that I LOVE to play!! My foster mom has another foster dog from unBreakabull named Quinn and she is the very best playmate ever! We love to play! We wrestle and chase each other around and she is so much fun! The other two dogs that live here are older and I think they are party poopers, but at least I have Quinn to play with! We play inside. We play outside. And I love to give her love nibbles as soon as we get out of our kennels! Toys are fun! Toys are amazing! I like tug ropes and squeaky toys! I also love chewing on bones and bully sticks. Life is so good! I wear myself out that I just flop over on the floor and nap! Now a word from the foster mom: Oliver is the picture of perfection. I could not turn him away when I saw he needed rescue. He was an abuse case. Several skull fractures in various stages of healing and a broken right hip. I saw his face and I could not turn away. He has the most soulful eyes. I was nervous to meet him because I thought he would be petrified of people but it was the complete opposite. I think he looked to people for solace and reassurance. How could such a tiny, helpless creature be so loving towards people when people are the ones that let him down? Being with him, he wouldn’t let my mind go down that path. He wanted to play with me. He wanted to snuggle with me. It’s like nothing bad ever happened. He was living in the moment and not dwelling on the past. So I vowed to live in the present with him. When I say he is the sweetest dog, I mean it. He loves people and he loves other dogs. He connected with Quinn and they became really fast friends. They sleep in kennels next to each other and every morning when I let them out, he immediately starts nibbling on her. I love watching these two play. Oliver is perfect. He is potty trained and kennel trained. I’ve had him for over a month now and not a single accident. He sleeps in his kennel (next to Quinn) every night. The only time I hear him make noise is when he is in his kennel and I return from being gone and he gets so excited he squeals. He loves to snuggle and loves to play. He does not discriminate against toys, he is an equal opportunity toy connoisseur. I can’t imagine a home that would not be a good fit for him. He even does good with cats!
