PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION OLIVE IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED IN CEDAR RAPIDS, IA. Meet Olive! This sweet little lady comes to ETHAP after being pulled off a euthanasia list in an East Texas pound with less than 24 hours left to spare her life. Olive was shut down and scared when she came to us with skin issues and hair missing from lying on a concrete floor that can never be fully sanitized. Now that she is living the spoiled life in her foster home her skin has healed up and her personality has blossomed! Olive is good with kids, cats, and other dogs with proper introductions. She would probably do best with older kids since she can get so excited for love! We estimate her to be 3-5 years old so she is still young enough for a full life with her forever family but old enough to have some household basics down. Olive is potty/crate trained, leash trained, knows sit, and is working on other basic commands. She is very food motivated which makes training a breeze. Olive also LOVES to sleep in bed with her human and typically stays in bed for as long as her person does. Anything you want to do, Olive would love to join!
