We have had him since the end of October 2003. He was not in the best of health. He had a hugh mass (or so we thought) that needed to be removed, he needed to be neutered, but he got kennel cough and we had to put off the surgery until the 18th of November. We also thought someone would claim him because not many dogs live to be his age and just end up being a stray. We did the surgery & it was a hernia ( caused by blunt trauma) & his intestines had come through the hole. He was either kicked by a horse or someone or hit with something. He did very well with the surgery. We want him to go in a foster home. He is so sweet. He just melts your heart when you look at him. He is between 12 yrs. old and 16 yrs. old. He might not live much longer or he might be like my beagle & still be kicking at 18 but either way we want him in a home. Update, he had another hernia surgery in Feburary on his back (from the same injury) just a different place and a dental and is doing great. He is still waiting for that family. He loves people and other dogs. DOB 10-91 HS 10-03 weighs 40 lbs
