Breed: Chihuahua Estimated DOB: 07/23/2023 Sex: Male - neutered Weight: 9 lbs Currently Up to day on all age appropriate vaccinations Things To Know about: - Rescued from Mississippi - Oko did incredibly well settling in and getting to know the other pets in in his fosters home. He came off the transport truck ready to play with everyone and brought that energy to his foster home as well! - Loves people of all ages and sizes - Friendly personality - He spent the first few hours exploring the toy box and claiming a dog bed as his own before crashing to sleep in his pile of toys. He showed no nervousness. - He is very playful with everyonedogs, cats, and people - There isn't a single toy he has not liked. He will drag them all to his bed, big or small, and sit on them like a king. He has played with balls, ropes, soft toys, and chew bones. When he's ready to settle down, he likes to chew on a bone. He likes to hide his bones under a couch or blanket. - Oko has so much love to give. He will snuggle and snooze on our laps often throughout the day - He likes air-popped popcorn! Some pieces missed the bowl and fell to the floor and he was circling the area collecting them up. - He appreciates a nice warm sunbeam inside or laying tummy up in the grass outside on a sunny day. - We take a 1.5 mile walk daily and he has happily kept up with the big dogs. - Crate trained - Crate training is going really well. The first night, we put him in and gave him a little treat and he made no noises at all. Ever since, he has whimpered very briefly after being put in his crate but stops in a few seconds and settles in.
