My Story

Is that Cloud 9 youre floating on, or did you just meet Odin? This big Great Pyrenees boy is 82 pounds of fluff, love, and pure joy. Odin is 3-years-old and was rescued from Windsor, South Carolina. His long white coat highlights the touches of grey and tan on his ears and face. Odin is very fluffy and does love his visits to the groomer, and hed love to live in a cooler climate where he can relax and enjoy life indoors and out. Dont let those gorgeous, introspective eyes deceivethis boy can be a bit of a chatterbox and quite enjoys talking about his day. We think hes an old soul who has a lot of life stories to tell. Odin would be great in a home with kids, and he does well with other dogs. He gets short bouts of zoomies, but really, who actually wants to run when you can just nap? Odin is the cuddle bug of your dreams. When you arent busy binging the newest summer reality shows with him, Odin would be happy to accompany you on walks through the neighborhood or around town. Hes so handsome and fluffy that people are naturally drawn to him, so expect to draw some attention when you hang out with this stud. During his many naps, Odin dreams of a family who will give him the love and attention he deserves. Wont you bring this gentle giant home and give him the world? Odin is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. Odin's adoption fee is $550. **Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. All adoption applications must be completed on www.hfgdr.org** HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
