Meet Oakley - The Playful and Energetic French Bulldog! This guy is 1.5 years old and is a ball of energy with a lot of naps! Oakley surrendered to us along with another dog and is now seeking his forever home. Hes a playful, spirited young pup with a big head and a longer body, making him a distinctive and adorable presence. Oakley embodies the classic puppy energyfull of life and always ready to play. He is always lingering around for treats seeking attention in the most subtle way possible. He loves to engage in play sessions with his toys and foster siblings, followed by long naps to recharge. His happy and bubbly nature makes him a joy to be around. Oakley can be a bit submissive, generally getting along well with other dogs. While he tends to be calm, he can assert himself if he feels uncomfortable in an aggressive situation. He has a particular fondness for water and enjoys splashing around. It was super funny watching him first experience the baby pools at his foster moms. Pawing at the water wondering why his foot would go through it. He loves lounging on the couch, especially when it involves watching Hulu or cheering on his foster human sibling playing video games, particularly Roblox or snoring under his desk. His curious and supportive nature shines through in these moments. Oakley is currently working on potty training with the help of his foster mom. He wears a belly band to manage his marking behavior, a common tendency in male French Bulldogs. Since being neutered, its expected that his marking will decrease. Oakley does go potty outside but still has some indoor marking habits to overcome. He has adapted well to crate training and finds comfort in his crate at night, where he feels safe and secure. This guy shows no signs of medical issues and is stated to be in great health. With quality hygiene maintenance and a healthy diet it will keep him fit as a fiddle. Oakley hasnt had much exposure to public spaces, which can sometimes be overstimulating for him. With a gradual introduction and small short outings to new environments and a consistent schedule, he is expected to adjust well. Oakley would benefit from patient adoptive parents who can help him feel comfortable and confident in new situations. Oakley would thrive in an active home where he can participate in activities like camping, hiking, and long walks. His playful and adventurous spirit makes him a great companion for an active lifestyle. He will do best with a family that can provide him with the love, attention, and gradual socialization he needs. This guy has the cutest scrunchy face and is currently learning basic commands. His cheerful personality and love for play make him an ideal pet for a loving and energetic family. When he looks at you, you cant say no to that face! He loves treats and is very food driven.
