Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Vancouver, WA Meet Oakley! He is an 1 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 45 lbs. He isn’t neutered, but is up to date on shots (except for rabies), and on heartworm prevention. Oakley is reactive towards strangers, due to not being socialized much in his previous home! His owner says he is good with people once he gets to know and trust them. He is good with cats and dogs! No children, due to his reactivity! Just like most herding breeds, Oakley will try to herd people. He loves walks, playing ball, snuggles, and belly rubs! His previous owner moved and could no longer keep him, so the current owner took him in to find a new home for him. His current owner has worked with him on being calm while people walk by and he has shown some progress, but will need continued training in his new home. If you think you can provide a great home for Oakley, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions.
