Hello! My name is Oakley. If you're looking for a dog with a lot of spunk and a playful personality, then I'm the dog for you! I'm a one-year-old tan colored male Lab, and I am 72 pounds of pure love and loyalty. I was abandoned by my previous owner at a local hotel in Columbia, SC. My foster mom found me on Facebook as I was getting ready to head to the shelter and stepped in to save me. I love to meet new people. Sometimes I like to greet with a hug or handshake, but other times I just get too excited! Maybe you can help me learn my manners? Don't worry though, I will stop when you ask me too. I do well around other dogs (big or small), and men, women, and children who are older-I may accidentally knock smaller children down. I don't always realize my size and strength sometimes when I'm having fun!!! I am good with children. I'm house trained and crate trained. I am okay with friendly cats. I am friendly and curious and I like to play with them. (Will need a dog-friendly kitty if one is in the home). I know the commands sit, stay and lay down. I love car rides and being groomed. I am working on leash training and making great progress. Mom says I am very trainable: treat and food motivated and I love to please. All in all, I am a perfect pup! Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the $50 adoption fee.
